When did you start getting stretch marks?

I'll be 26 weeks tomorrow and don't have any stretch marks yet! Do you think I am one of the lucky ones, or should I not hold my breath yet?

me too. My mom never got them with her 3 pregnancies so I am hoping I will be in the clear but at only 22w I am not getting excited just yet. Most of my friends told me that they got them after 30 weeks

Crashing, I don't want to burst your bubbles, but I thought I was lucky until they showed at 36wks.

I look in the mirror every single day, but I'm 39 weeks today and seem to have avoided them! You could be lucky... but as other posters have said, a lot of girls tend to get them later in the 3rd tri.

I got them pretty late, maybe around 30wks

From day 1 I was applying lotions also and did not help, hopefully it will in the long run though.

31 weeks and nothing yet, but my skin has been itchy so they might be around the corner. I'm praying that I don't get them.

I didnt get them until after i gave birth. . .

I have tons of them now.

With my 1st PG I didn't have any until 36-38w. I was so excited, but then wham, I got a lot of them on my lower stomach only.

Then with my 2nd PG, I got them only on my upper stomach. I was carrying low with my 1st, and high with the second baby. So both my kids took care of that!

Now, I have stretch marks everywhere and I'm so used to them unfortunately. I'm also carrying VERY high this time.

I also used the cream you're suppose to use and it didn't work. But, I do have HUGE babies so maybe that's why!

I'm 39 weeks also and don't have them yet either! My twin said that she didn't get them till after birth tho. So, we'll see what happens.

I'm 34w5d and I don't have them yet either! I'm hoping I'm one of the lucky ones!

if you're 26 weeks now this is when you should use a cocoa butter lotion or some type of vitamin E. My mom had my sister and i and used NOTHING and ended up with a huge belly two times and no stretch marks. So I assumed i was in the clear.... I had no stretch marks until 31 weeks, and then i started to get them. (around my belly button) Using a cocoa butter lotion and a vitamin E gel has made them fade in color so that you can barely see them... but i would deff. condition my skin NOW that way you have less of a chance of getting them later. (hey, you may be lucky and not get them anyway, but its better to play it safe, then end up with them :-\)

i also have a really TINY belly and i'm almost 36 weeks... so just be careful. as you get later in your pregnancy, and baby gains about an ounce a week, you will start to see your belly grow overnight. :)

I love the picture of your daughter. She is way to cute!

I am 31 weeks today and have a few not to visible - strech marks on the sides of my body - not on my belly which is weird.
