When did you start feeling kicks up higher (in the ribs)?

moves like CRAZY all the time, but I still only feel her below my belly button and mostly on the right side. I'm 27 1/2 weeks. When did you feel kicks up higher in the rib area?

I'm 29 weeks and I still haven't really felt any kicks near my ribs. Most of the movement/kicks have been low, at the highest they were near my belly button.

I'm 30 weeks and 90% of the time feel movement on the left side right under my ribs.

Yeah I would say about 28+ weeks I started to feel movement under my ribs. Now at 31 weeks it feels like she is getting stuck under my ribs!

my is breech - i feel arm/head movement above my belly button and kicks in my hoo-ha

I just hope she's in or gets into the right position. When does the dr. check to see if she's head down? I go on thurs for the glucose so I guess I can ask him then.

I have been feeling it in the ribs for a couple weeks now. I also have been getting some nice kicks to the crotch! Neither hurts, it's still kinda tickley.

Since about 26 weeks I've been kicked in the ribs..its VERY strong now at 30 weeks though...

I don't remember Johnny being this high. Most of his movement was off to my sides and lower...this baby seems way higher!

Around 28 weeks I felt a few. Now, at 30 weeks, I feel alot of movement up higher.

From when I first started feeling kicks at about 25w I have felt them up high in my ribs. At my 32w appt the dr did a sono to check the baby and placenta's position.

Hi Jess!!!!

Probably around 30 weeks or so......its only a matter of time! Also, when they get themselves wedged up under your ribs, its really uncomfy...trick is (even though you look like a jack@ss doing it) is to get on all fours and rock, its shifts them around and unwedges them.

Oh - that sounds like a good tip! I'll be sure to try this only in the privacy of my own home....

I am 34 weeks, my is head down but she still has her feet up by her head, so all my kicks are still really low. The only movement I get above the belly button is when shes twisting her body, mostly her hiney around.

What gets me is that my doctor promises this is a normal position...I picture her coming out head and legs at the same time!

I am 26 weeks and everything I feel is below the belly button. I have felt a few jabs in the side but they are all low thing really high. Although I feel like everything is pushing up because it's harder to breath right now.

i guess i'm the oddball - i have NEVER felt her in my ribs - not once. she's been VERY low the entire pregnancy...

maybe it's a good thing? I dunno..

I never really experienced those painful kicks in the ribs that some women get. I felt an occasional kick in my ribs towards the end, but most of the time the kicks were below my ribs.

My little man is breech, sometimes transverse, so I either feel the kicks in my woo haa, or the side. I have to have a growth sono on Thursday to see his position. He is big, so they are a little worried about him being able to turn...

I started feeling him kick up in the ribs as early as 25 weeks. Now, at 29 weeks he's so strong that it HURTS when he gets his feet caught up under there.

I also get painful jabs in my sides occassionally too. I believe he's head down right now, so its his feet by my ribs and his elbows in my sides.

I am 35 weeks not an I definitely feel the baby's legs by my ribs. Especially on the right side of my body. My doctor said the baby's head is down now too. Maybe he/she is very long. I guess I will find out next week when I have a sonogram.

My babies head has been down since 32 weeks and i never feel him/her kick in my ribs!!! i dont know why, maybe he/she is in a fetal position, curled up!!!
