When do did you start feeling strong kicks?
I am in my 21W. I think I feel flutters but I have never been pg before so I am not sure. I definitely haven't felt anything strong. I am curious if this is normal or if I should be feeling real kicks by now. TIA

Re: When do did you start feeling strong kicks?
This is normal. Most people don't feel anything at all before 19-22 weeks so if you're feeling flutters you're right on schedule.
My baby has really big feet, which is why I've been feeling kicks (or at least that's the story I'm sticking to) and not flutters for the last few weeks, but I'm pretty sure I'm in the minority.

Re: When do did you start feeling strong kicks?
I started feeling movement at 18 weeks (for me it was less of a flutter feeling...more like bubbles). Around 20 weeks, they started getting stronger and more like kicks.
Everyone is different though. And it depends where your placenta is as well. When my dr was looking over the results of my Level II sono, he said my placenta was in a really good place, and b/c of it, I will be feeling her move alot. My best friend had an anterior placenta, and she hardly ever felt her baby kick, and her husband never really got to feel it.

I started feeling the baby 16-17w and just the past few days (19w+) have the kicks gotten strong.

Re: When do did you start feeling strong kicks?
I am 24 weeks and I just started feeling the baby about 2 weeks ago. I was starting to get worried, but she has made up for it since.
Flutters are just the first step and the kicks will get progressively harder.

Re: When do did you start feeling strong kicks?
Im 27 weeks now and have been feeling strong kicks(where I can see my belly move or feel from the outside) for 3 weeks. Before that I felt lighter ones that mostly felt like the baby was kicking towards the back...I noticed those around 21 weeks or so....with maybe a few a couple of weeks before that I werent sure what they were. This is my first pregnancy also.

Sunday night was the first time I felt kicks that DH could actually feel too....that was when I was just 22 weeks.

Re: When do did you start feeling strong kicks?
I have a placenta that is sitting in front of the baby so even though I am almost 24 weeks I really haven't felt her "kick". Every now and then I feel flutters but nothing significant.
