When did you create your registry?
I was wondering how many weeks you were when you created your registry? Also, did you register at Buy Buy Baby or Babies R Us? Thanks!

Registered at BRU. Started it at 12 weeks. Picked out all the big things and such since I want to reuse them for DC #2 I wanted gender neutral.
We found out what we are having 2 weeks ago and I started adding some boy geared things then.

I didn't register just yet, but I have the itch  . What I have done though, is created a "wish list" on BRU. I have been doing lots of research. Anything I like I add it to my list- which would make it so much easier when I create my actual registry. I like the wish list feature because its only viewable to me. If I had the option to make my registry public, I would have began to create it, but I would be adding & removing things like crazy.

I went to pick out the important big stuff (stroller & carseat) with DH at 18 wks and filled in the rest online and on my own for several weeks later. I didn't really finish until 27 wks b/c I was going so crazy with research.

I started at about week 22 or 23. It took me almost 3 weeks to to finish adding the big items. I am still constantly making changes.

We will probably do it after the level 2 though we will have already known the sex after the amnio.
DH told me he was not interested to register with me. I think registering for the wedding was too much for him and spending an afternoon in a store with too many female hormoes running amok, he may lose his sanity that much faster.
I told him he will need to be there for the big ticket items and to see if he is comfortable with the size, weight and features of the travel system we choose. That he agreed to. He also wants "veto power" over anything he doesn't like. Who is this guy?

We started it at about 20 weeks at BRU. I then added things over the next few weeks online and went back to the store a couple of times to add a few things that I wanted to see in person.

i started at 21 weeks at BRU. it was VERY important to me to wait until after the level 2 to make sure everything was okay before i registered.

If he planned on staying home for 10-12 weeks after the child comes, I would tend to agree with you. However, once he starts making Excel charts and pie graphs regarding price and safety of items, all bets are off! I can see this now:

i just started at about 11 weeks (online) but only with a few gender neutral things since DH and i plan on reusing everything for our other DC.
i plan on taking DH to look until after our ultrascreen tomorrow.

Oh I am going to have to look into the wish list. I keep thinking of things I would add, but it's way too early to start a registry. I like that I would be the only one who could see it, my little work in progress!!
