My DD is 16 m and STILL wears them for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
eta: she's not a drooler so she's never worn them over her clothes.

she stopped wewaring them all day all the time when she started solids cause thats when she spit up less.
She wore bibs to eat for a while i want to say at least almost 2 if not 2. I think by then she had eating down pact but i will still at almost 3 years old put one on her if i dont want her clothes to get messy.
ETA: once she started solids i boguth the plastic ones so much easier to clean

Shortly after 12 months. I just didn't care if he gets dirty. Its just a shirt and I can always change it.
My FIL watches him on Mondays and he will put a bib on him and they used to in daycare until 18m and we told them he really doesn't need them anymore.
But at home it was I would say 13-14m.

dd is 14 months and still wears a bib.
when she's home she eats only with her diaper on but she makes such a mess!!!!
it gets all over her highchair!!!
she still wears one at dc. i would love to know how she comes home with her pants so clean.lol I think it has to do with how close she sits at the table there. her high chair at home leaves a gap which i hate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DS is 2 yrs old and I would totally put a bib on him if he let me. 
I am a neat nut and he... Is NOT! LOL
Even during art at mommy and me he pulls off the smock. He's been fighting me on wearing bibs since about 18 months old. I tried to distract him, occupy and let him pick one, but didn't work. Oh well

My little slob is over 2 and he still wears them when he lets me. I use the Tommy Tippee (or whatever its called) with the big lip - we call it his trough - and that prevents his food from going everywhere. If we are out though he does not use a bib anymore. Just at home.

maybe 9 months? he wore them when he was teething at first and then when we fed. he's a pretty clean babe when we feed him.

We never put one on DD until she started eating and now only if she's feeding herself (which is 90% of the time) because she's gets food EVERYWHERE and it's just a little less mess to clean up that way. She's never been much of a drooler.

My DD was 2 in July and still wears them. I don't want to ruin her clothing. I even put one on when she eats a lolly pop.
ETA: I use the body bibs from Ikea and a regular bib under that. We cover all bases here lol

my dd was about 10 months when she would pull them off of her. If I tried the ones that went over her head she would try to rip them off and turn red in the process and leave marks on her neck. It was definitely easier to just go without them and just do more laundry

At 17 months I still put them on her but they usually wind up on the floor at some point. I'm not sure why I still bother!

DD will be 2 in a few weeks and she still uses them, although it depends what she's eating. If it's something messy she gets a bib. If not, I usually don't put one on her.

when she stopped making a huge mess. I want to say she was maybe around 18 months? It got to the point where she was hurting herself trying to yank them off (we had snap-close vinyl ones) and since we were still feeding her super-messy stuff (like yogurt) we were just extra careful.
Now I want to start using them again!!! She is in a self-feeding stage with the yogurt and is a complete mess.

my dd is 15 months and only at mealtime otherwise i strip her down to her diaper sometimes LOL Shes a messy eater and certain clothes I love and dont want them stained.
Otherwise wearing the cotton ones all day everyday, I stopped around 5 months. Wheneva it was that she stopped drooling all day LOL
