Re: when did..
crashing but I had to tell my job at 10 weeks because I missed a lot of time one day due to an OB appt. The next time around if I can, I want to wait until at least after the NT scan. My mom and sister knew right away because they knew I was seeing a RE. The rest of our families knew at about 8 weeks.

Re: when did..
We told our immediate families and best friends after the 8 week appointment. I would like to wait until after the 12 week appointment to tell work and everyone else. I'm not doing a facebook announcement.

when did..
We told : Mom's - 11 weeks 1 bestie - 11 weeks my dad - 11 & 1/2 weeks (his dad is gone) Rest of my family : 12+ weeks (after 12 week NT scan) Rest of his family : around 13 weeks, we just trickled it all out there Work : 15 weeks (I caved, was trying to hold out for 1 more week, but just couldn't, plus I have been showing for a few weeks, and I'm a big girl). FB: announced this past weekend a little past 15 weeks.
That said, it's a totally personal thing about when you tell who.

my husband's mom is the ONLY person who knows so far.. we told her at about 6 weeks.
it's getting so hard not telling anyone though.. i haven't felt good since about 4 weeks and i'm constantly making excuses as to why i'm not feeling good or why i'm cancelling plans. i feel like a big fat liar

I am 10w3d, and I still haven't told family or friends. I will wait until my 12 week scan. I am not sure yet when I want to tell work. Maybe when I am 14 or 15 weeks, if I can wait that long.

I simply wouldn't make plans. Get the seabands!
I had a hard time with MIL because she was living with us and cooking some strange concoctions with the slow cooker and I just couldn't even eat them - and she got really upset about it one night... we told her 1 week later.

when did..
My coworker was one of the first to know lol. She knew we were trying for a long time so when I got my BFP, I called her. Told my sister the next day (4w2d), Mom and her side of the family at 7w3d (after 1st appt), Dad and IL's at 9w4d. Told some close friends before 12w. Came out after my NT scan came back normal - around 13w.

ha, i guess not making plans would help.
i bought the seabands. they didn't do anything for me.
it wasn't my choice to tell my MIL either, but my husband really wanted to and he was worried about me since i was feeling so terrible and hadn't seen the doctor yet. i think he wanted some advice since she had three kids.

How long did you keep the seabands on and did you put them on properly? proper application (? don't know if that's the right word here) is key.

after the seabands didn't work, i got a prescription for zofran. that little pill is a miracle worker. i try to only take it when nothing else works for the nausea.

If you don't want to take a Rx, Vitamin B6 and also Unisom (at night) work and are perfectly safe.

Re: when did..
With DS, we told my family at 4.5 weeks and his at 5.5 weeks (based on holidays spent with each family) and told work at 13 weeks.
With this pregnancy I told my boss at 4.5 weeks (she knew about my prior losses and I was a wreck after my third beta and couldn't hide it well -- she was extremely extremely supportive), our parents at 9 weeks, a close work friend and the rest of my family at 13 weeks, and the rest of work and the rest of DH's family at 15 weeks.

We JUST told our parents at 9 weeks. I have my first apt. on Saturday (just shy of 10 weeks) and will tell my job on Monday (it's the last day of school and I don't want to come back 4.5 months pregnant lol). I haven't even been allowed to tell my friends, they've all guessed when they've seen me.

Re: when did..
I told my g/f's literally 5 mins after I POAS. We told DH's parents at 8 weeks and my parents at 11 weeks (we waited until we saw them all so we could tell them in person).
I told 2 of my close co-workers at 8 weeks b/c I was so sick and might have needed them to cover my class for a minute to run to the bathroom. I told my principal and everyone else at work at 14 weeks.

With out first, I told my best friend within a day or two bc we were at a get together and I was nervous she was going to figure it out and call me out in front of everyone (found out she was a few weeks ahead of me so she def wouldn't have brought up anything!). We told our families around 5 weeks when we'd seen the sac and blood tests were good. Told the rest of our family, friends, and work after the NT scan at 12 weeks. Don't remember when I posted on fb, probably somewhere close to 16 weeks.
This time, we didn't have a sono until 8 weeks so we told our parents and siblings right after that. Told some close friends and family at 12 weeks and have been spreading the word very slowly. Not sure when we'll post on fb. I'm 14 weeks tomorrow and just don't really have the urge to post it yet.

I am 12w3d and had my NT scan last night which came back great. We haven't told anyone yet. Its weird but right now its our little secret. I look the same and nobody has any idea. I feel like crap but nobody really knows that. We will probably tell our immediate families in a few weeks and family/friends maybe at 16 weeks?? I have no plans in doing a FB announcement and if we do it will be after 24 weeks. I know how I felt with all the FB pregnancy announcements when it wasn't working for us. As for work I'm a teacher and I have one week left. So I guess they are finding out when I show up in September super pregnant looking. HA.
Everyone is different with what they are comfortable with. I personally still can't believe I am pregnant. GL

Re: when did..
I told my boss right away. She knew I was doing fertility treatments because I had several doctor appointments in the morning that caused me to be late a few days. She was super supportive so I felt comfortable.
I also told my parents right away. We told certain family/friends at 8-10 weeks and then everyone else at 12 weeks.

I told my parents at around 8 weeks. Rest of the family at 12 (I wanted to wait longer but my mom wouldn't stop bugging me) Good friends at 12. And the rest as I saw them. I did not announce on fb and I don't post pics of my son on fb.
