When can they tell if you're having twins??
Just wondering... LOL... It runs on my moms side of the family and DH is a twin, and everyone is driving me crazy saying I'm gonna have them... but I dont think so... just wondering when can u find out so I can shut them all up?!

They can tell pretty early, but I've heard that sometimes they won't tell you right away, because sometimes one fetus doesn't last and they don't want you to deal with the loss.

My friends sister was able to find out as early as 6 weeks I beleive.

I had my first ultrasound at 8 weeks and my doctor said that there was only one baby in there.

I found out i was having twins at my first appointment at 8 weeks. You could see two sacs and heard two heartbeats.

I knew right away (4 week sonogram) but then again I did IVF. We saw the two little sacks.
