is 2 1/2 weeks old. Is he too young for the Peanut Shell Sling? I tried to put him in the other day but he disappeared in it!
I just want to take a walk around the corner to drop off some mail and putting him in the stroller seems like too much of a hassle for such a short trip.
I'd also love to be able to walk around and do chores with him in the sling but I'm not sure if he's too young for it.

Re: when can I start carrying DS in a sling?
I put Athan in a slingw hen he was 2 weeks old and we walked around in Washington, DC to see the cherry blossoms - well for mommy to see the blossoms and for baby to sleep snuggly and warm up againsthis mommy. I loved the sling!!! He is now too long and heavy for it
He may look small in it Holly, but as long as he is safe and secure in it - and can breathe comfortably (that was my fear) - I would say do it! It's so convenient to have both arms free!!!

I had DS in my Peanut Shell at 5 days. Never had a problem.
