My SIL (the one I like ) casually slipped that fu*cker in yesterday's conversation and I was  since we've never talked about that. This topic of conversation should not be discussed casually like the weather  .

Agreed - going to a family christening this weekend - so not looking forward to all the nosy extended relatives asking about it as they often do. I'm really not sure why people think it's ok to ask such a personal question - you just never know what someone could be going through - we just started clomid this cycle after 8+ months of trying - I'm having a hard enough time as it is and am barely keeping it together without the nosy prodding - not that it's any of their business.

seriously!!!! i try to smile and ignore but all people keep asking is when dh and i are going to have kids...i'm so sick of the questions...the little devil in me almost wants to make people feel bad and tell them i was and i lost it jerk, thanks for asking!!! (ah that vent felt good)

If it's family and they know what's going on I just say..we're still trying, but if it's someone else that has no buisness asking I look at them and say so when was the last time you had sex with your husband. Because that's what you're asking me. That usually shuts people up.

It sucks!!!! So many people I know just had babies. I think if only I can have one. But I started talking more about TTC with family and friends and realized that most of my friends that just had babies took a while also. I guess it just somthing most people dont talk about. But once you talk about the stress of this I realized how many people are in the same boat.
I hate when people ask that question when they have no idea. I sware to never ask anyone that question now for the rest of my life now that I am in that boat.

Ha ha my husband and I get that all of the time too! It is very annoying. My hubby and I decided not to tell family that we are trying (especially our mothers). We don't want the "are you pregnant yet?"

A woman I work with, who I am not even that friendly with, asks me every few months. It is so rude!! My friends at work and I joke that when I do get pregnant, I should just deny it to this woman until the baby is actually born, lol!

DH and I have been married longer than many friends who already have kids, and I feel like everyone keeps asking about when are going to have one. My sister tells me that she always used to tell people who ask, "get out of my womb"! I might have to start using that line.

Is it weird that no one really asks us that? Cuz I think it's kinda weird!!! Seems like all other newlyweds get asked this question a TON.
Although, my MIL DID rub my fat belly on Christmas eve and say how many months was I.  Yeah, thanks for pointing out that I'm fat and carry a lot of weight in the tummy area... no, it's not like I'm self conscious at ALL about it.

My mom knows that we are TTC so Im good on that one. Nobody in my family really bothers us with that question thank god!!! but with DH's family its another story altogether.
