is the $600/1200 rebate that everyone is getting?
we got paper rebate checks for our taxes... so we will receive one for this as well?
also, do we each get sent a check, or will we just get one since we filed jointly for our taxes?

Yes, you will get a paper check. Check the schedule linked above to see when yours will be mailed out. Since you filed jointly it goes by the SS# of the person (you or DH) whose name was listed first when you filed. You should get one check for $1200 made out to the both of you.

Everyone does not receive the stimulus check. It gets phased out once your joint AGI exceeds $150K and is eliminated if your joint AGI exceeds $174K.

So we owed money and obviously then weren't able to file with direct deposit. So Now we don't get ours until June 27 because of the last 2 digits of our socials. So I am glad that were are getting our stimulus check but I can't help feeling a little slighted becasue we owed for taxes.. I mean this is the year we could REALLY REALLY use this check since we didn't get a refund.

You can have them electronically debit from your account to make a payment. I'm assuming (and hope) they will use the same info to deposit the stimulus check.

I just find out I won't be getting mine on the date I thought. I opted for direct deposit through turbotax, however, since I paid my tax preparation fee out of my refund, I get a paper check.
Reason being, when the IRS directly deposits the money, they put it into Turbotaxes bank account, then TT put it in mine. So, if you opted to have your fees paid out of your tax refund, regardless of what place you used, or you got a rapid refund, you'll be getting a paper check. I'm so bummed. All because I was too lazy to get up and get my debit card. This is the first and last time I'll have my fees deducted!!
