what's your favorite lunch sandwich?
I've been having turkey and american for like three weeks straight.... I'm starving and looking to switch it up.

I always gravitate towards fresh mozzarella, tomato & basil on a baguette with EVOO & Vinegar.
Same here. So yummy with fresh basil from the garden. I can't wait for my tomatoes to come in.

Sometimes I like prosciutto with that too.
I also like:
turkey, fresh mozzarella, a few slices of pepperoni on whole wheat toast.
sopressata, provolone, salami, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, salt & pepper and some dijon mustard on ciabatta or italian bread
turkey, swiss, lettuce, tomato, pickles, red onion, spicy mustard, pesto aoili on multigrain bread
grilled chicken, lettuce, tomato, avocado, pesto aioli, cheddar toasted on a baguette or mini ciabatta
grilled chicken, roasted eggplant, mozz, & grilled peppers on garlic bread
and if i feel like being a cow.... haha
chicken cutlet, mozz, bacon, blue cheese & wing sauce
or if i'm pregnant (from corner kitchen in AB):
CABANA GIRL = chicken fingers, curly fries, mozz sticks, on garlic bread with honey mustard

My favorites are:
Italian heros...all different combos as long as there is salami or prosuitto or soppersata
Usually though I stick to low sodium turkey, ham or chicken breast bc it's healthy (ier lol)
Also I love tuna and egg salad

I eat a lot of Turkey sandwiches also! I also make tuna on whole wheat, or egg salad w/bacon, lettuce & tomato. I also eat a lot of fresh mozz, tomato & basil with balsamic on baguette.

Lately I've been loving plain egg salad on toasted rye. I don't know why but it has been super appealing.
And Cooked Salami, American Cheese and Cole Slaw on Rye. With a pickle.
And PB&J - heavy on the pb, light on the J on good, thick, chewy white bread. With a glass of ice cold milk.

Fresh mozz, pesto and pepperoni melted on garlic bread.
Chicken cutlet, BBQ sauce and cheddar on a hero.
Paninis...basically of any kind.

Lately I like Turkey,ham,genoa salami and mozzarella w/ tomatoes,onions, lettuce, oil, vinegar, oregano. I think at the deli it is called the works- so I am not sure what else is in the seasonings. I get it at My Hero in N Merrick. YUM!

i haven't had any of these in a long time, since i really can't eat bread any more... but they were all yummy, the last time i had them

There are some good sandwich suggestions in here - thank you!!
I forgot about salami, I haven't had tuna in forever, and bacon makes everything better.
I'm looking forward to next week's lunches.
Some other sandwiches that I love:
breaded eggplant, with lettuce, fresh mozz, and sweet pepper.
rare roast beef, lettuce, onion, provolone, S&P, mayo on a roll
rare roast beef and cheddar with horseradish sauce in a wrap
