Re: What's your BEST potty training advice?
Honestly the best advice I got was from my mom and my sister (and every single family member and mom friends overseas ) was this: do not wait for her to show signs of being "ready", bc if you do you'll end up with a kid in diapers for 3-4 years or more, just go ahead and start putting her on a potty/toilet and she'll get an idea, just as long as she doesn't cry and as long as you don't make her feel like she is being forced into something she doesn't want to do, make it all fun and give lots of positive reinforcement. They gave me some pointers so I decided to give it a try with DD and see (basically try without trying), sure enough it worked. Most importantly she never cried , never resisted, never refused , she just went along with it without a problem and was potty trained early.

Buy the potty power DVD.
I swear Logan watched it twice and was like "I'm done with diapers".

Do not force it. When they are ready, they are ready and its EASY. If you push it, it WILL backfire.
And do not get upset over accidents.
Exactly. If they are ready it will only take a few days to get them potty trained. If they are not ready you are going to spend a miserable weeks or months trying.
Totally agree!
It's not a contest to see whose DC trained first - when they are ready, they are ready and potty training is painless.
