I always, always wanted Cricket she was the 1st talking doll and I wanted her so badly. But she was $100 back then! I guess that's whay I never got her. 
I got it. I was a spoiled brat. Both of my little nieces got Amazing Amanda this year which is like Cricket.

I begged them for one.
I grew up in Levittown and was told that we had a perfectly good pool down the road  But I wanted my own!!!

I always wanted a dog, but my dad was allergic so we never got one. I still want a dog, but we work too many hours so the dog would be stuck in a crate or the kitchen all day. We also don't really have room for one right now. Hopefully I'll get a dog one day.

I was either spoiled or had very cheap taste as a kid because I think I got everything I ever asked for. However, we ONLY got gifts and toys on our birthdays and/or Christmas, so I guess my parents and grandparents spoiled us since it was only twice a year.

I always wanted the easy bake oven and a sit and spin. I never got either one. My mom would say the light on the oven would burn my fingers and the sit and spin would mess up my brain. LOL
I usually got everything I asked for (not in a spoiled way) except for these LOL

I also always wanted an easy bake oven. My aunt heard me mention that (much later on) and bought me one for Christmas. I had to be at least 18 at the time. I appreciated the thought, but I could use the real oven by then 
(I returned it)

My Victorian dollhouse - NOT A COLONIAL I was pretty sure Santa understood my need for a wrap-around porch.
Other than that...my mother was obsessed with making up for her neglected childhood, so we almost always got everything we asked for
