What's the chances?
I started using the OPKs last week and every day I was getting a negative. I did not check on the Saturday and Sunday but on the Friday and Saturday I did have intercourse. On Monday I tested again and got a positive. Tuesday I tested twice and still had positive readings am and pm. Today I have tested again and it's still positive. What I want to know is, with having 3 days in a row of positive reading, does that mean I still haven't ovulated yet as I know it predicts the LH surge 36 hours before but if I'm still detecting it 3 days later, what does this mean. The reason I want to know this is with having intercourse at the weekend, and the fact that sperm can survive upto 5-6 days inside you, I wondered what the chances were that I could get pregnant. My partner works away alot at the moment so it's hard to time our get togethers with the positive OPKs.

Re: What's the chances?
I think you are proably reading it wrong. The test line must the same as or darker than the control line. Do you have regular periods? The other reason for multiple positives could be PCOS

Re: What's the chances?
Both the lines are the same colour. I did one late late night and there was no 2nd line, but today there is again and they are both very dark so i've assumed this is a positive reading. I have not had a period in 4 months as the mini pill I was taking stopped them. I came off this almost 3 weeks ago. I know I'm hoping too high to assume it can all happen so quickly, but to go from nothing to suddenly detecting my LH surge, I just wondered if from the BDing over the weekend, it is likely to possible it could still happen given the timing, or if I've just been a bit too early.
