Whats everyones Christmas day schedule like?
Ours is always a little hectic, have to get to my IL's sometime in the morning to exchange with them and BIL and his wife. Its christmas morning all over again  lol
Then we head to my parents house to have dinner with them around 5. After that its time to head home with a car full of toys and clothes that we can no longer see out the back window of.
I love it, I really do, sometimes I just wish we could stay home and have people come here. But everyone always has plans, and Im not having xmas eve and xmas lol..
.. so whats everyone doing?

We are having a brunch at my house with my parents and then dinner at my SIL's. She lives 5 mins away.
Last yr was way too crazy running from here and there so this yr we stopped it.
Andrew's 1st Christmas we did the brunch thing and it worked out perfect but for some dumb reason we didn't do it last yr

We are going to exchange gifts Christmas Eve with my mom's family at her house.
Christmas morning we have all the stuff from Santa and exchange among the 4 of us. Plus they open the stuff from my dad and ILs, which were shipped here already. Later in the day we have dinner with my mom. This year my brother and his wife will be there too.
My dad and his wife live in Utah and his 3 siblings don't celebrate Christmas anymore so we don't see any of them - although my mother invited my aunt and 2 uncles to her house.
My ILs live in Florida and care for DH's grandparents, so they can't come up even if they wanted to, although they celebrate Hanukkah.
We usually exchange with my BIL and his wife the weekend before or after Christmas, since they spend holidays with her family.

same here!
Everyone comes here about 12-1 and stays the rest of the day.
it was what I asked for Ali's 1st Christmas and it has stayed this way.
I like it better that way.
We do have Christmas Eve at my parents house. Just me, my mom, dad, brother, DH and Ali.
We have dinner and exchange gifts.
Then we head home before Santa gets there

WE are doing Xmas Eve witht he families at our house to exchange gifts
Then we are having dinner with the ILs That will be from about 2-5, then off to dessert with my family. We always do desert with my family bc someone dreses like Santa and comes down the outside basement steps and the kids love it. I want Seamus to be there for that!

We have to go to my IL's for breakfast (which I am not too happy about. I need to learn to teach my DH to keep his big mouth shut!!!!)
And then we will be going to my mom's for dinner.

We will be home with the kids during the day, then go less than 10 min away to ILs for dinner and to exchange gifts.
While I hate that we wont be in NY celebrating with my family, I love that we don't have to travel this year. Last year we had dinner with ILs Christmas Eve, opened presents at home with the boys Christmas morning and then flew to NY to have Christmas dinner with my family.

Christmas eve we have my mil over for a while. Then later that evening we go to my dh's father's side of the family's house for a dinner party.
Christmas day is at my parent's house.

my american side of the family celebrates on the 25th, and mom and I always celebrated on the evening of the 24th, following the european tradition.... However, when I married my DH (also european), so his family celebrates on the 24th.... so mom and I decided to shift our celebration to the 23rd....
so brace yourself for this one..... (keep in mind we live on eastern LI and will have a 12 week old at the time)
23rd - 'christmas eve eve' - evening at our home with mom
24th - evening/late night in brooklyn.
25th- day/evening in NJ
give us strength!

We go to my aunts on christmas eve so christmas day we stay home and play with new toys Usually we have company popping in for bagels the first half of the day since DD and SS are really the only young ones in the family. No stress, I love it! Last year we did Christmas eve here, it was a blast but a lot of set up/clean up. I was pooped.

Every year we go to DH's aunt's house Christmas Eve....then we still have to go see IL's on Christmas Day (sore spot)...
This year is a bit easier since we are currently staying with my parents - get up, do presents, have breakfast....get ready while DD naps...then head over to IL's house in the afternoon for a while...

pry this child away from his toys and go over to our friends home for dinner.
This is my first Christmas where my family isn't coming down(my sister is due on 12/27 in WA)...so thank God we have wondeful friends here.

It's our first Christmas in our new house and we're really excited that it's just the 3 of us. We'll have a leisurely breakfast and open presents/watch Lily get excited ALL day (preferably staying in our pajamas ) Then we'll make a special, yummy dinner and relax by the fire with some good wine.  I think I am the most excited for this Christmas than any other Christmas before.

We have an exhausting 2 days!!
Go to IL's in Bklyn on Christmas Eve, have a huge fish dinner, DS puts on his PJ's and he opens presents about 8. Hopefully he'll go to sleep by 10. The adults open presents at midnight -- then we snack a little and go home 
Christmas morning we'll open presents here (with Mom and sis, bro, BIL here to see DS) Then we go to my Dads house for a late breakfast -- more presents for DS.
My Moms for dinner and more presents.
Than on 12.26 we are going to see my grandparents and aunts on my Dads side.
Just writing about it makes me tired!
