whats everyone wearing home from the hospital?
i dont know what to wear exactly?
a sweatsuit, pajamas? i have no idea?
it should still be maternity right?
i'm having a c-section

I was thinking about this today. I think I am going to get a pair of maternity yoga pants & a nice top. I am also having a c-seciton & I am thinking my current maternity pants may be too tight around where the incision is going to be.

I tried on Yoga pants very early on in my PG & they were very loose & comfy. Maybe I will hit ON & the gap this weekend & see where they lay on my belly....

I wore low drawstring jogging pants and a zipper jacket to match.
I had a c-section and didn't want to have to lift my arms up to get into a regular shirt.

I wore maternity capri yoga pants, a polo shirt--also maternity--and flip flops. Probably wear something similar this time too. I had a c/s. If you've never had one, you might be surprised just how low the scar is--it's below the hairline. I can't imagine any maternity pants being too tight around there really. I think the yoga pants are the most comfortable choice regardless.

I bought some yoga pants from Old Navy in regular, but up a size from where I normally am.
I've got some nursing tanks and a hooded sweatshirt.
So I think that will be my going home outfit.

Im due in Sept...will probably go early (I always do)..so Im thinking shorts,tank top, and a pair of flip flops...
One word of advice from an "ol pro"
Make sure the shoes you bring are really really roomy!!!! Your feet tend to swell after. Twice I had to go home with the laces out of my sneakers and my feet pouring out of the sides!!!!
Flip Flops,nice and roomy, would be the way to go!

With DS I wore a t-shirt and elastic waisted pants from NY & CO. I had wore them up until 5 months and they are loose fittingand they were fine.
This time since I am due in July I think I am going to wear gaucho capri's and a tank top.

What? I planned to wear my regular size 8 jeans and a cute little top!
Sorry.... I had to... BAD joke at my friends expense. She ONLY packed her "normal" clothes in her hospital bag when she had her DD because "Once I have the baby, then the belly will be gone, so why wouldn't my regular clothes fit???"
Anyway... probably yoga pants or capris. I wore capris home with my first 2 and that worked out.

Last time, some PJs that looked enough like lounging clothes. This time...lingerie.
Just to be cozy, maybe a cotton dress and flip flops? [it will be late May/early June] I shrank a lot in my 2 days in the hospital with DD...but I certainly had a ways to go...I don't want to get something I think will fit and it be snug, I loathe snug pants.
