What would you put on the wall here?
Above the cart.... a framed print? A plaque/sign thing? Metal wall art? Clock?
There's already a hook there

I might put shelves, but if you don't need them, than maybe some type of artwork, one big thing, not lots of little things.
And maybe something with color.

Artwork with a punch of color. Great wall for it! I love Kohl's for things like this, especially when they have their 40% off sale.

Love vintage art or if you do a clock I would put two decorative plates on each side. they have beautiful plate holders too

I love this print from BB&B. I have it in my living room. It has great colors which could live up any space. I'm partial to italian countryside type pics. You could also try Home Goods! Image Attachment(s):

Can you put the mixer in another spot?I think it might be too tall and be too close to the artwork if that is what you decide on.

Definitely a large art print. Check out BB&B for sales - we got a really beautiful, huge framed painting for our kitchen 50% off.
ETA: I'm a big fan of the vintage cooking/liqour ads - the kind Ophelia posted. Those would look great in your space.
