What would you do (gyno related)
I have a routine appointment with my doctor in a couple weeks. I was just looking at the calendar and it's scheduled for the very same day that AF is due. I'm usually right on time (give or take a day or two). So I'm worried that it'll be here.
What should I do? Should i call now and reschedule? Wait until the day of and see what's up? This has never happened before... I'm so annoyed.

I had a similar problem once before. I called the office and they told me to wait till the day of and if AF didn't show to come in. Well, I went in and after the doc did the exam he asked if I was due for AF. I said yes and he said "well, it's here." I was so embarassed, but they deal with crazy stuff all the time. See what happens day of and if you need you can reschedule then.

I once called the office to ask a similar question, and they told me that if I was just spotting it was ok to still come in. As long as it wasn't a full flow.
Still sounds gross, but it's his face down there, not mine!!
Good luck with what you decide!

I'd reschedule for a different week...I wouldn't take the chance.

If you're due for your PAP smear, they cannot do it if you're bleeding so I would reschedule. If you're just going in for a regular, non test type of appointment, I would keep the appointment.
Good luck! Hopefully you won't even get AF and your doctor's appointment will be about something else!
