What would you do? Dr related.....
Okay, last week I went to the lab for my blood test. Doc said they would have results on Friday. I called...no results. Monday....same thing. Tuesday, I call at 8 am and the girl says call back at 10 so I do and she says call back at 1. This happened 3 more times that day. I finally said do you even have them? And she said yes, but they are busy and to call back Wednesday. I called back today and the SAME THING!
My doctor won't see me until the blood test shows I am pregnant, and I can't even make an appt until I get the stupid results. I am getting p!ssed. What would you do? DH thinks I should go in there and demand results, but I am such a wimp about stuff like that.

I would be on top of them for my results. My doctor was suppose to get back to me by 2:00 the day I gave blood and by 3:00 I still hadn't heard from them. I kept calling and calling and by 3:30 I got my results. You have a right to your results AND it takes them all of 2 min. to give them to you so I think it's pretty crappy of them to make you call back because they are "too busy". Good luck!!!

Is it close to you? I'd try to call one more time and let them know how upset I was and if they didn't give me results I'd show up. I'm sorry they're doing this to you. Are you set on seeing this doctor? I don't know if I could go through the stressful time of pregnancy and childbirth with an office that offers such bad service. Good Luck!!

ETA Just another question.... is this the same doctors that you used in your previous pregnancies, and did they treat you this way with the other ones?

I would switch doctors and say F Them. There is no reason for someone to not read your results by now. There is no way I would tolerate this living in the area that we live in. There are so many fantastic doctors on Long Island. Why put up with this kind of treatment. Plus this is just the start for you with blood work and tests. Are they going to do this every time?

It is the same doctor, but his office staff has changed since last time I was in there. I love my doctor, but I don't know if I want to deal with the office ladies for nine month.....

i have the sort of the same issue... love my doctor but the rest of the staff i can't stand.. i've just been dealing with them but something like that is different. I'd go down there and be like i'm not leaving here till you give me the results and schedule my appointment .. Good Luck

Honestly.... if you don't like the staff... Change NOW! It sux that you have a doctor that you love and you have to lose out, but better to be with staff AND a doctor that you like....

ITA! you wind up dealing more with the staff through out the 9 months then the Doc anyway. And if all they are going to do is give you the run around then I would start lookin for a doc asap.
