What Window Treatments do you have...

in your kitchen? I would love to see pics if you have any. I don't know what I want. Our cabinets are cherrywood & we have stainless steel appliances. The walls are a light beige. Any thoughts? Chat Icon

Thank you for posting because I am searching for kitchen curtains also and am pretty much working with the same exact color scheme!

I love the look of this, but is it a pain to open and close them when going in and out of the house? My DH is constantly in and out of the backyard using those doors.

I can't tell from the pic, but Tine73, do you have those rings at the top of your curtains to allow them to slide??

I just bought these Sunday from Country Curtains (they're not up just yet). They'll go over our pleated shades.

Thanks - No rings on the curtains. they have been up for almost 2 months and no problems getting in and out. When I know there will be a lot of traffic, I just pull the curtains all the way to the right.

If you found ones you liked with rings, it probably would be a little easier.

i have curtains on rings on my kitchen sliders. they're so easy to slide open and closed. and with the rings you can really push them all the way to the side. i would definitely go with rings if you use the door a lot.

Re: What Window Treatments do you have...

I have been searching forever.

I just ordered these valances only. Did not get them yet but I did get a swatch of materical and I liked it. I will only be able to tell when I get them if they will work, but it has been VERY hard finding kitchen curtains that I liked.

Re: What Window Treatments do you have...

my kitchen window is kinda big & everything I liked need to be custom made, I couldn't deal with spending over $300 for one window. So I found these PB tie-ups at the outlet for $9.99 each, we never need complete privacy with this window so these were just right to filter the light & make it look finished. They were still a little wrinkly here because I had just put them up.
