i hosted my SIL's baby shower in my home. i bought a bunch of glass vases and tied them with a blue bow and favor tag with her name and date, special ordered tons of flowers from a florist, and made bunches of bouquets of flowers in the vases. they served a dual purpose- decorations for during the shower, and then each guest got to take a vase and flowers home as a favor.

My theme was "Twinkle, twinkle, little star," and my DD was due around the holidays, so my mom did star ornaments.
