What to get DD for 1st birthday?
What were some of your DC's favorite toys from 12-18 months? I'm trying to figure out what we should get DD for her birthday, and other people have asked me for ideas too. I see tons of cute things on the TRU website, but I'd love to know what other kids have enjoyed most. Thanks!

What to get DD for 1st birthday?
My sis is getting dd the anywhere chair from Pottery Barn, with her name on it.
Other ideas: doll stroller, play kitchen, personalized step stool from One Step Ahead...
I think our gift to her will be her party and 1st Birthday Portrait and Cake Smash - these things are adding up! $$$$

We got dd the pottery barn anywhere chair and the Disney Princess Little People Songs Palace by Fisher-Price, she loves it!!!

What to get DD for 1st birthday?
We got DS a few push toys and he loves pushing them allllll over our house. We also got him a water table and a kiddie pool for the summer.

What to get DD for 1st birthday?
Tupperware! lol! Some of DDs fave 1st bday gifts were the PB Anywhere Chair, one of those bicycles that grows with her (at that age we pushed it) and it has a sun shade on it, the FP Laugh and Learn House, books, shopping cart, ride on toy.

What to get DD for 1st birthday?
I decided to get dd a water table. I heard they love those! And it was inexpensive. Ill prob get her one of those outdoor push carts too for our walks together. I also have a standing push cart that she can operate herself. I bought it originally for Xmas but saved it for first bday bc she is still nowhere near wanting to walk

play kitchen with play food/shopping cart..my girls love this. OH and don't forget the tea set with the cups/dishes/spoons!!

we didn't get DD anything, the grandparents spoiled her...
but things she got and liked were Wooden Block set from Pottery barn kids, anywhere chair...
other good gifts she has received -
Little People Animal Sounds zoo
Fisher Price Laugh and Learn House
Wooden Rocking Chair with her name
Last year we didn't get her a water table - she is getting one for her 2nd bday but it would have been great for her 1st bday

What to get DD for 1st birthday?
We gave our niece the Fisher Price Disney Princess Little People Castle for Christmas with the set of extra princesses when she was 1 1/2 and then for her 2nd birthday we just got her more princesses and the Ariel Coach and Cinderella Coach. She LOVES the stuff.

DD loves loves loves this!!!
She also has the PB anywhere chair and loves that so those are GREAT ideas!!!
We got her an outdoor play house
and Im thinking about getting her a kitchen. She loves swinging doors!!

What to get DD for 1st birthday?
I got a fire truck. DS turned 1 3 days after Xmas and my house was already a toy wonderland.
I am buying him soem outdoor toys now and pulling out soem of the toys we put away so it will be birthday in June.

We did outdoor toys. A little ride on car, a small swing set/slide and sand box. This year we got a water table and upgraded the swing set.

What to get DD for 1st birthday?
We got DD a work bench which she loves! She got tons of clothes, a water table and slide for the back yard, puzzles, the LP princess castle, LOL Elmo. So far her absolute favorite is the elmo balloon from her party that's still going strong.

What to get DD for 1st birthday?
We got both boys the PB anywhere chair. I just got the little guy his and he loves it - he sits in it all the time.
Some other things that people bought the boys that they liked were:
Step 2 Push Buggy (huge hit)
Wagon
Water Table
Small Little Tikes/Step 2 Playset
Rocking Horse (wooden or plush - we have one of each)
Cozy Coupe
Small Ride on Toy they can maneuver themselves in the house

Thanks so much ladies. My sis is getting the chair, and I think we're getting her a water table and maybe a ball put mostly because I want to have them for her backyard birthday party! I'm definitely focused on outdoor stuff because she doesn't have anything yet. I thought about the cozy coupe, but it said 2+. Was your 1 year old able to use it?

My mom did a lot of research before getting DD an outdoor toy. She found that those swings had terrible reviews bc the short roped don't allow it to swing much at all. She ended up getting a little climber/slide from step2 instead and DH is going to install a separate swing in the yard. The slide says 2+ but it's pretty small and either way DD isn't going to be climbing anything yet so it didn't really matter.

We got DD a little tikes swing set. It has one swing and small slide and she loves it. With gift certificates from her party we got her the little red car and a stroller to push her babies.

My 1 year old gets more use out of the push buggy right now but, he'll sit in the Cozy Coupe from time to time. He has this little dump truck to sit on that is low enough that he can use it.
I am going to advise against that set as well - it's small and low to the ground so it's not easy to push the swing.
