What time does your 9 week old go to bed

And does he or she sleep through the night

Seamus just started sleeping through the night. He gets a midnight feeding, then stays asleep until 630-7 am

I was thinking of trying to put him down a half an hour earlier every few days to see if I can get him to bed at 10

I know he is young and doesnt really have a set schedule but I have to go back to work in 3 1/2 weeks and want him to be on a familiar routine

He wakes at 630 or 7 for a bottle. He usually stays awake for an hour or so and then takes an hour or so nap. He gets a bottle every 3 or 4 hours and then takes a 2-3 hour nap around 12-3. Then he wakes again and gets fed and stays up to play on his activity mat, we go for a walk, etc. He eats around 6 or 7 and then falls asleep for 2 hours or so. I want to try and keep him awake after 7 so he is more tired, but it hasnt worked yet

Re: What time does your 9 week old go to bed

My son started sleeping through the night at 11 weeks.

He gets a bath at 7pm, then a 5 ounce bottle and goes to bed around 7:30-8pm. He sleeps until 6am.

So yes it's definitely possible that you might be able to get him down earlier. Just gradually put him to bed earlier and earlier, like you said. Chat Icon

At that point.... whenever she wanted....

BUT having said that... I was trying to get her on some sort of a schedule. By 3 months of age, she was putting herself to sleep at 7pm to wake up at 7 am.

At that age I was putting DD to bed at 9:00. We gave her an 11pm dream feed but she still was asleep or going to sleep.

She generally woke up once or twice a night in between midnight and 6am at that age.

Alexis has been sleeping thru the night since she was 7wks. We always put her to sleep at 9pm. Its what works best for us now. She sleeps till 6am, gets one 4oz bottle and sleeps again till 8:30am. Ideally, I'd like her bedtime to be about 8p.

Re: What time does your 9 week old go to bed

At 9 weeks bedtime was around 9:30 -10PM. He would sleep about 5 hours, then wake every 2-3 hours after that.

During the week between his 9th & 10th week, bedtime got a little earlier each night (we were on vacation) plus I had started supplementing with a little formula during the day and all of a sudden he was sleeping 9PM - 7AM!!!Chat Icon

Now bedtime has been moved back to about 8:30 or so at 14 weeks old! 7:30Pm is either a short walk outside or bathtime, then I BF around 8PM & lay him down about 8:30 and he falls asleep on his own!
