what time does your 8 month old go to bed?

our DS won't sleep before 9:30 and usually will fall asleep b/n 9:30 pm and 10:30 pm, waking up at 7 am- 8:30 the next day.

my SIL's daughter goes to sleep at 7 pm on the dot, and if she doesn't, is really cranky.

i know each baby is different, but is this too late a bedtime for our DS? should we listen to when he's tired? or try to put him to bed earlier? he just won't fall asleep earlier than 9:30 pm...

Lily's 7 1/2 months and has been going to sleep bewteen 7 and 7:30. Occasionally if she hasn't napped much that day she'll go down earlier. If he won't go to sleep earlier, I wouldn't force it (unless you want to try crying it out.)

DS goes to sleep around 8-8:30 and normally wakes up around 7am.

thanks susan! it's just that sometimes my SIL make comments that makes it seem like it's wrong for us to let him stay up so late...

If you baby isn't cranky and seems fine, than I think it's fine. It's whatever works for you. DD is 8 months and goes down around 8-8:30 pm and these days sleeps till about 8 am.

Anytime between 7 and 8.

He was going to bed between 7-7:30-pm.

My boys go down at 7pm and wake up at 6am

trying to get them to do 7am

My son goes down around 8-8:30 and is up anywhere between 6-7am ( that is if when he decides to sleep through the night!) ...LOL

Sky goes to sleep between 7:30 and 8pm every night, sleeps thru until 6;30 7 am. i f I am lucky once in a while until 8!

Around 8 o'clock.

Luca has dinner at 6:30 and is in his crib by 7. Once in a while he's crabby and goes down earlier, and once in a while he'll be up a little later. But for the most part his schedule is pretty strict. He usually sleeps until 7:30 during the week but will often sleep until 8:30-9am on the weekends.
