What time does your 2 year old go to bed?
And how many months are they?
My DD who is 25 months goes to bed at 9 pm.
I feel like it's kind of late for her age, but if we try to put her to bed any earlier she will scream bloody murder in the crib for up to a half an hour!
When 9 pm rolls around she is ready for bed and goes in willingly- without a fight.
I am guessing that this is just the time her body is ready for bed.
But I just feel like it's kind of late for a child her age.
Just curious of what time your 2 year olds go to bed....

almost 27 months - 730pm
ETA - here is his schedule
630 - wake
8am - at daycare
1-3 - nap
6 - home and dinner
630 - bath
645-730 - play and then bedtime routine.
Only difference on the weekend is nap from 12-3.

He goes to bed around 930 and screams every single night no matter how late we put him down! Once sept comes we are going to push for 830

25 month old dd here, and she goes to bed at 930. We are on a completely different schedule though than most on these boards: we don't get home from work/daycare until 7pm. our routine for dd is:
wake up: 730am
commute and at school at 9am
mid-day nap: 1230 to 3pm
commute home: 6-7pm
dinner: 715/730
bath: 8/815pm
reading/quiet play: bath till bedtime: 9-930.
And before people flame, we've discussed the schedule with her Ped and she is fine with it.
So, NervousNell, I think you're fine. Every child is different.

22 months and 9pm...its been her bed time since she was 4 months old. On weekends a little later so we can sleep in the morning a little later

DD is 27 months and usually goes to bed between 8-8:30. Some nights 9 but not very often.
During the week we wake her around 6:30 for daycare. On the weekends she wakes up any where between 7-8:30.

25months old.....and she goes to bed at 730.....she has gone to bed at that time i think since maybe 12/15 months old before that it was 630

What time does your 2 year old go to bed?
DS is 31 months and he goes to sleep at 9pm, and has been for awhile. I had tried for awhile to make it earlier and he wanted no part of it. It was frustrating for both of us so I figured it wasn't worth it.
He wakes up in the morning about 6am, naps from 1 1/2-3 hrs starting at noon, and goes to sleep at 9pm.
Every kid is different - some kids need more sleep than others, some go down earlier than others. I am thinking that DS 2 will be one of those kids (like I was when I was young).

I am so jealous!
DH and I look forward to the time after she goes to bed to relax, watch our shows, eat dinner.
Lately it's been dinner at 9 pm.
I WISH she'd go in at 630 like that -or even 7!

ds is 30 months & goes to bed at 7:30.. trying to get my 2 month old on a similar schedule so as soon as my older one is in his room, we work on getting the baby to sleep.

Both my kids go to bed between 9-9:30 and always have. It's what works for us - by the time DH gets home from work and we eat and have some family time, that is what time it is. My 3.5 year old still naps every day and my almost 6 year old will nap on weekends during the school year and almost every day during the summer.

dd is 26 months and we start bedtime routine at 8:30 in crib by 9 and then whenever she falls asleep. Sometimes we hear her playing for a bit but sometimes we don't hear anything.
She was fighting us so at the beginning of the summer we pushed back her time and it's been better.
We used to eat after she went to bed but then it became to late for us. ( pm is so late to eat so we now eat when dh gets home and shes awake. Usually shes fed already and will just watch tv or pick at our food when we eat

My dd is almost 3 but has been going to bed at the same time for almost a year.
At 7:30 she gets a night night show then we brush, potty and pj's.
She is in her bed by 8pm and is out cold by 8:15-8:30.
That said she does wake at 6am and does not nap 
Days that she naps she is unable to fall asleep before 9-9:30 no matter what I do.
When dh is away on business we have a different schedule. The kids sleep from 9pm-8am. I work nights and can't be up for the day at 6am.

does your DD get enough sleep during the night?
does she wake up at all during the night?
does she nap enough during the day?
those are the things that really matter when it comes to sleep, i think anyway.
DS (23 months) goes to be around 9. sometimes he's out by 9:15, other times he's out by 10:15. i'm fine with that. all that matters is that he sleeps. He sleeps through the night, wakes up between 7-8am. takes a nap, sometimes two during the day. He's happy, he's thriving. at this point he will tell us when he needs sleep. Literally walk into his room, take his stuffed animal, say good night mommy, curl up on his bed and fall asleep.

Yes. She sleeps great. All through the night without waking.
She will go to bed around 9- sometimes a little later. Never later than 930.
She wakes up anytime between 7 and 830 am- it differs ever day.
Sometimes she takes a 2 hour nap- sometimes no nap.
Again- it varies.
I know when she is ready for bed- she will say yes, when asked if she is ready for bed, grab her blanket and bear and walk into her room.
I just thought maybe 9 pm was too late, but reading these responses, I can see that it's right in the middle of the road.

DS goes to bed between 8:30 and 9 most nights.
It's later than I'd like but if I try to put him to bed earlier I just fight with him until 8:30 or 9 so I take the path of least resistance.
