What the........????
I was at Saks off 5th today shopping for a Mother's Day gift. I had a few coupons on me and was looking through them while I was standing on line to pay for something. there were these 2 old women in front of DH and I... one of them turned around and asked if she could have a coupon. since I wasn't using the one for women's apparel, I said sure and gave it to her. she practically grabbed it out of my hand and then turned back around yaking it up with her friend.
I waited, and waited - waited a few more seconds. NOTHING!! not even a smile let a lone a "thank you"   WTH???

I did say "you're welcome", not too quiet or loud. I guess they didn't hear me. I swear DH and I just looked at each other like   what the hell was that?????????

I have encountered the rudest people at that store. I feel like saying "you're shopping here for bargains - get over yourself!!!!!!"

This might sound like an old fart but I hope it makes you feel better it did come from my Grandma. She used to say it is so much easier to be kind to the kind and give to the appreciative. But there is no reward in that. Its being kind to the unkind and giving to the greedy the the real reward is in!!! I always think of this when I get pizzed about stuff like this (which I do often) And it really hleps me.
By the way..... She was so friggin rude!!!!

yeah.... while I love that store, it definitely has some characters who shop there.... That's the exact phenotype that I find the most frequently.
actually, I've even had questionable interactions like that with their employees.

I just remembered another 'coupon incident' from a couple of weeks ago.
DH and I were shopping at B,B&B and this woman asked me if I had a coupon while I was browsing in the bedding section. I said 'no I don't'. she gives me a look like this and says "hmm, really"? I said "yes, really"!
I was so glad that I 'lied' and didn't give her a coupon. what a beyotch!!! I had a few on me but I wasn't sure what I was buying yet - so I could have ended up needing them all. some people are just gross!

I dont know but Me personally... Would NEVER have the guts to ASK someone for a coupon. If they offerd it of course I would be very grateful and accept it but to ask NEVER!!! And honestly no one ever asked me for one either. You must have a friendly face

there have been plenty of times where I offered someone on line at B,B&B a coupon. most people are very greatful and thanked me a million times. and we get it back too. DH and I were in Atlanta last year and were at an Applebees. there were 4 people sitting behind us and they gave us a coupon for a free meal when you buy one. so I don't always have a bad experience
