What swing did you register for???? BTDT opinions appreciated!!
I've been looking at the Graco Silhouette and the Graco Lovin' Hug swings -- they seem pretty smiliar to me! They both go up to 30 lbs, which I guess is good.
Some people suggest the Fisher Price Snugbunny swing, but that only goes up to 25lbs.
Any BTDT thoughts or other reviews??

I had the Graco Lunvin' Hug swing in Mondo and i loved it with DD, she loved the swing until she was about 7 months and we stopped using it but in the first 4 months, it was a staple for us. Will be for this baby as well.

We had the FP papasan swing for DS. I bought the same one (used) so we have two for our twins. We really liked it. The only issue was it does not plug in. The batteries seemed to last pretty long, though.
Ours was an older version of this one:
It looked like this:

I registered for the Fisher Price snug-a-bunny swing. a bunch of my friends recently had kids. they all got different swings but everyone SWEARS the fisher price my little lamb swing is the only one that really keeps their kids content. all of their kids LOVE that one. the snug-a-bunny is just the updated version of that which is why i chose it (i also like the look of the snug-a-bunny better).

We had this fisher price swing (baby not included ):
DS LIVED in it for the first weeks. We used it until he was about 6 months. I washed the pillow pieces and they came out looking brand new and we packed it up and have it ready for #2. It's one that plugs in. I think any of the FP swings are great purchases.

i rec any swing that plugs in. swings eat batteries!
if i had the extra cash, i would've bought the FP Zen. Its so pretty and has really nice, soothing music.

I will be registering for this one as well for all the SAME reasons! All my friends swear by this swing.
I actually dont really like it because it just seems so big and I have a very small living room, but I am going to get it anyways because of all the reviews.

Re: What swing did you register for???? BTDT opinions appreciated!!
I have the Just One Year travel swing:
It's only about $50 from Target (and usually on sale for less -- I've seen it as low as $35).
DD likes it now -- she didn't love it until about 2 weeks ago (she's 9 weeks now). It's a very simple swing -- just goes back and forth -- and I put the little bunny straps on the sides so it's not too rough where I strap her in. But it certainly does the job of rocking her quite well! I like the music it plays and I like that it shuts off on its own. Economically, it's a great swing!

We used the Fisher Price My Little Lamb Papasan swing. DD lived in that thing for the first few months-live saver. It ate batteries though. Any of the Papasan swings with the AC adaptor are good. They love the cradle/feeling of being snug.

I registered for the Fisher Price My Little Lamb. It's similar to the Snug a Bunny (which I honestly like more) but it has the tray.

We have the rainforest swing that we used for DS and will use for this baby as well. As a BTDT Mom, I love the rainforest swing. Also please keep in mind that the swings that plug in are great because the swings run the batteries very easily and you are constantly replacing batteries.

We have a fisher price little lamb swing. DS slept in that thing until he was 8 months old! Needless to say, he LOVED it. It ate D batteries sow e bought them weekly at Costco but it was totally worth it becuase he was calm and content it in.
