I had the Papasan cradle swing for DS2 and loooooved it. The fact that it goes side to side or front to back is key, because some babies prefer one over the other.

Nature's Touch Baby Papasan Cradle Swing
We have that swing - bought it at half price and it works so well that my husband thinks we should send the place we bought it from the other half of the money! 
It's perfect for a newborn because the seat cradles them and helps them to fall asleep and feel comfortable.
Amazing swing!!!

I registered for this one as well. I got the Graco Pack n Play also so I thought it would be nice if they were the same pattern.
