What should I make?
I just got an email that for the end of year picnic I need to bring a main dish that represents our heritage. DH and I are both Italian, and I'm Jewish. The last time they did this around the holidays I took the easy way out and did bagels and cream cheese. Lol.
And let's not forget that this is going to be outdoors, in the heat.  I need something easy that will work in hot weather. I could do a pasta, but what kid wants to eat pasta at the park on a 80+ degree day?!

Maybe a pasta salad served cold?
Or pick up zeppolis or garlic knots from the pizza place.

What should I make?
My MIL makes a yummy pasta with broccoli with garlic and oil. She usually serves it cold. It's delicious.
