What should I do with my broccoli
I have a ton of broccoli that needs to be cooked tomorrow...what should I do with it? I am super bored of plain old steamed broccoli...
Any great suggestions? A salad might be nice...

I roasted mine like maybeamommy posted in that menu planning post. OMG it's DELISH!!!! My hubby even loved it and he don't really care for broccoli!!!

I steam some when I make pasta alfredo. I make the sauce, then add the pasta, the cooked chicken cutlets and then broccoli to add some color (and veggies) to the dish. My husband loves it and we serve it with garlic toast.

You could puree it along with some milk to make a broccoli soup.
You could top it with cheese.
You could grill it (as in grilled veggies)
I also love it sautee'd or roasted with olive oil and lots of garlic

You could mix it into rice.
You could eat it as a snack with veggie dip (my favorite is when it is raw).
Make a hot pocket kind of thing with pillsbury dough. Mix chicken, broccoli, (any other veggies you want) a little bit of mayo, salt, pepper, and cheddar cheese, then fold it into the dough. Cut slits in top and bake. mmmm

I did the same! Fantastic. I also steam it and add olive oil, garlic and lemon. Sometimes if I need to use up broccoli I will put it in a frittata or a quiche. You can make broc and cheese soup too!

saute with garlic and oil and a little chicken/veggie broth and toss with whole wheat pasta and toasted bread crumbs...yum!
Or in place of pasta yu can mix it with spaghetti squash...comes out just as good!

In the end I steamed it and made an oriental sesame noodle salad to bring to lunch with me today! Thanks for the suggestions all!!!
