What should I do when DS is really congested?
He had tons of snot coming out, sorry if TMI, last night plus he woke up b/c he problaby couldnt breathe so well. I put the Vicks Vaporizer on but it didnt seem to help all that much. What other remedies can I try?

Did you try the saline nose drops? Steamy bathroom?

I use saline nose drops and then the nasal aspirator. I also elevate the head of her crib with some pilliows.

havent tried these yet. Can i get the saline drops at like target or something? Also can i rub the baby vicks under his nose?

Yes, just a drop of the vicks under his nose.... Dr. told me to rub a lil' bit on your hand and then touch w/ your finger and put that little bit under his nose.
DD had this a few weeks ago. We did everything all the previous posters mentioned, steam showers etc... when we went to the Dr.'s - turned into a double ear infection.

When DS was really sick I would saline & aspirate every hour and a half at least. I would also give him steam showers and have him sleep upright (in the swing)
