Connor is sooo congested!

I can't believe he's not even 2 weeks old and he's so sick already. His eyes are all goopy (neon yellow color) and his nose is stuffy. He doesn't have a temperature so that's good. I asked the nurse at his 1 week appt. that if he comes down with a cold is it really bad for him being so young and she said no it's just uncomfortable for him. He looks so pitiful. I hope he feels better soon!

How long has he had the eye discharge?? Did the doctor see that at his check up?

Can it be clogged tear ducts?

Also when Emily was young we used Little Noses drops in her nose that were a decongestant -- very very low dosage of sudafed. Maybe you can call about that and at least do saline/asperator to help the little guy out!

He's only had the eye discharge a couple of days.

He wasn't sick at his 1 week check up. I was just concerned because my 2.5 yr old came down with a cold at the time he was born, so I just asked them as a just in case question.

I'm going to call the doctor tomorrow anyway even though there's not much they can do at this point. His 1 month appt. isn't until October 10th.
