Hi, Tess!!!! We have an eat-in kitchen, and my rectangle table is way too big; I like it, but I think the space would look better, with a smaller table. Hey, I like your card display!!!! Cute!!! Mary

Hi Mary! I think its Martha Stewart. Makes me smile.
Love the way round tables look. And how intimate it can be for our small family of three. But it's a nice sized dining room, and the rectangle one we have there now is a good size too... Just out of style, for me at least ( think glass n metal ikea).
Is round out of style? Or like, a southern thing?

We have round, but it's a small space. My parents have oval in a formal dining room, but they are from MD, so maybe it is a south of the mason dixon line thing, LOL.
This is the style of my table, only fits 4. My parents oval table fits 8.

oval. Seats 8 with 3 leaves, 6 with 1 leaf, 4 with no leaves. It was my grandmothers (from probably the 1940s).

I don't think round is out of style; Deb and Fred have a beautiful round table and upholstered chairs, from Penneys. Mary

My dining room table is oval but it also very old. I got it from DH's cousin (it was her mom's). Its old country style but I love it.
