what rules do you follow when using OPKs?
what time of day do you use them? Is FMU ok or better to wait until afternoon/evening? Do you REALLY need to hold your pee for 4 hours?  Do you do the same time every day? Anything else to keep in mind?

what rules do you follow when using OPKs?
I don't use FMU. I use them at 6-7 PM and I hold my pee for 2 hours.

I tested twice a day. In the morning and in the evening (after 3 pm). I read that it is best to test twice a day. I would hold my urine for at least an hour.

last month was my first month using OPK and I used FMU. After having 2 kids, I cannot hold my pee! So FMU is best for me

LOL I have no kids and can't hold my pee 
I use FMU as well. Only on the days where I'm scheduled to O do I test 2x a day- otherwise its just a waste of the sticks and that sh!t is expensive!

what rules do you follow when using OPKs?
The surge you are testing for happens for most later in the day. In the beginning I would only test once a day. When I was doing my IUIs I would test 2x a day (sometimes more). I always had my surge after 1pm.
I woudl try and hold for 4 hrs. I would also stop drinking so much water those days so if I did not hold it would be diluted.

Same here. I also made sure to use CBE smiley faces eventho they were expensive.
