What kind of shoes with this dress?
So I obviously don't want to wear these kind of shoes with this dress. What should I wear?
I was thinking of British tan shoes with a small buckle on the toe or maybe dark brown knee high boots. Any other suggestions?

Yeah... I would stick with brown, tan or camel color shoes with this dress.
I would def wear either pumps or boots with this dress.
