What kind of shoes am I wearing with this dress? Platforms?

I have a baby naming this weekend - getting an honor at the temple. These are the 2 dresses, do we like the shoes? With tights?
I don't know...help!

Do you think it's ok w/ out tights? Just thought that b/c it's temple. I have both dresses coming tomorrow. Not sure what I'll wear.

I also don't want to spend lots of $ on shoes.

I like something like those...but with out the strap

I know nothing about temple...but if you feel like you have to wear tights then I would do a opaque tight

The first dress looks way too summery imo. I would go with the second dress, but I don't like the shoes at all, sorry.

Dress #2, but I would go with black knee high boots with a heel.

I would go with the 2nd dress.

Not feeling those shoes - the strap is way to much.

I wouldn't worry about tights at a temple (unless we are talking about a really orthodox temple here). I would bring a shawl or something if you wear the first dress, because in some temples they don't like women to show their shoulders and I am not sure if that first dress does.

Thanks - I love those shoes but I won't get them by Sunday. I'm going shopping at a place near work will look for something like that.

I don't even have the dresses yet - going to pick them up today.
They are from my friend who is the designer for the line, so I just had him send me some dresses for me. The 1st one I just liked when I saw it on the rack. Those shoes are perfect.

It's reform and no hose is fine.

if you go w/ dress 1, you'll need a shawl or cardigan to cover your shoulders to go up on the bimah.

i like dress 2 better.

i would wear stockings no matter which dress you choose (since you will be in a house of worship...)

if the naming was taking place in a restaurant or in someone's house, then it wouldn't matter.
