In the beginning First (2 months) I only used ready to feed. But then I realized how expensive it was,and my brother sends me powder formula from his office so I decided to switch to powder but have ready to feed on hand if needed.
Well I think that the powder is thicker than the ready to feed. Jacob took to the powder very nicely and I now feel that when he has a feeding of ready to feed he gets hungry earlier.. This, of course is my opinion.
I always give him powder now at bedtime and ready to feed if I am out and about for the day. I find it easier to use it then..

The only RTF I used was Alimentum and I felt it was thicker than the powder.
