I officially now have morning sickness
So I spent the morning praying to the porcelin gods. I actually think the nausea is worse than the vomiting. At least after I threw up I had a few moments of relief. I've already wished death on myself twice and this is only the first day! Any home remedies would be greatly appreciated. Also I can use some
  Thanks ladies

Re: I officially now have morning sickness
I wish I could tell you! I am 11 weeks and I still can't figure out what works for me. In fact, I just went in the kitchen to get some water, opened up the fridge and it hit me...I only had time to make it to the sink. I sure hope you come up with something that works for you though.

I remember hearing from a friend about a smell in her fridge that made her puke, and for the life of her she could not figure out what it was!

Eating crackers definitely helps me. I have the Multi - grain Wheat thins. I just read in a few places that extra vitamin b-6 may help to as well as increasing protein intake. I hope you feel better. It's an awful feeling.

Re: I officially now have morning sickness
I am so sorry. I know what you are going through
Nothing in the world helped me but time. At 15 weeks it finally went away. But please just remember to drink as much water as possible. I was vomiting so much that I ended up in the hospital, dehydrated
I hope it goes away fast for you

Re: I officially now have morning sickness
My friend who has m/s swears by Preggie Pops, they are sucking candies you can find in most maternity stores. Since she has used those no problems.

Re: I officially now have morning sickness
I've been using the sea bands that help with motion sickness. The have reduced my nausea by 50%. Hope this helps. I got them at CVS.

Re: I officially now have morning sickness
Many hugs to you because I know how tough m/s can be I was sick morning, noon, and night, then at like 11pm it just stopped and I got a little break till like 6am then it started all over again, I thought I was going to die! It lasted with me for 2 months then like a switch it just stopped. So theres really nothing u can do except eat small meals threw out the day mostly carbs gave me a little relief. I noticed smells that I loved before I hated when I was pregnant so that can cause nausea too.

Re: I officially now have morning sickness
nothing worked for me. thankfully though, i suffered only 2 weeks of really bad m/s from weeks 9-11.. and then it tapered off by week 12/13 slowly decreasing. hang in there, it will get better!

Re: I officially now have morning sickness
I know what you mean... I had the 24/7 nauseau but only vomited a few times. I wish I had done it more because I felt such releif afterwards! Some things to help:
-small frequent meals during the day -greasy foods (bad for weight gain, but good for keeping the nauseau at bay - for me, a grilled cheese sandwich always seemed to do the trick) -peppermint candies -lemon candies -ginger snaps -water with lemon -saltines (though it never worked for me)
If it gets really bad, ask your doctor about Zofran - it's prescription medicine that instantly takes away the nauseau. It's a miracle, it really is. It's really expensive though, and my insurance only covered 20 pills, so I used them sparingly, only on days that it was simply unbearable.

Re: I officially now have morning sickness
rice cakes worked for a while. I also had it really bad all day long. Bananas, crackers, g. ale. ( I can't drink it now cause it reminds me of those days)
Even the air outside would make me nauseous!

Vitamin B is suppose to help dramatically with morning sickness. Good luck!
