I need new clothes!! Fall trends?
I'm looking forward to going shopping for some new clothes once I lose some more weight and for when I have to go back to work in the fall ( ) so what's in this fall? I feel so out of the loop with fashion since wearing nothing but maternity for months!!
Pics are always great!

I see a lot of the same stuff for fall as we saw over the summer... peasant skirts, peasant blouses, and my favorite , CLOGS ( I figure that since I'm just gonna keep getting bigger, at least I can enjoy the SHOES)
I also still see a lot of shrugs featured and it seems that cowboy stuff is very "in" (boots , etc)
BUT I am like the worst person to ask this, I have NO FASHION sense whatsoever

I just came back from Roosevelt Field with my friend. We were looking for something to wear to the christening (she's the godmother). All that is out is the peasant crap. There are no nice tops at all. We just wasted our time there.

Hmmm... see I think fall is a little too chilly for peasant skirts and tops so you probably won't catch me in those.
I gotta see what the new clogs look like. I had a pair back in the 90's!

Sandra, I totally agree! I am the type of person who gets so cold so easily, I cannot fathom walking around in those skirts and light tops in the fall... plus even though I have a few peasant skirts for the summer, I don't think they are going to look so flattering as I expand (see you are going down to skinny proportions, I am growing by the minute!)
This is why for work I always go back to my boring grey/brown/black pants and various tops 
The clogs are cute that I've seen, they have really chunky heels and most of them are HIGH heels.. but it is pretty funny how EVERTYHING does come back in style

That is totally me too! I swear you would think I wore a uniform to work. I am so colorphobic for my work clothes.
I want to see a pic of clogs...maybe I'll go look. Chunky heels - I like!

I have this one pair of brown pants (from my office days) that I would wear with a pumpkin orange sweater....what a GREAT combo!

I do love fall clothes, the sweaters and heavier materials.. I just am ot running out to buy anything right now ALREADY I feel like my waistbands are getting tight

Oh and the other thing I see constantly at the NYC street vendors are those very glittery bags, ugh I dont even know how to describe them but EVERY STREET vendor has these bags and I kinda hate them
Those and those funky indian/chinese glittery slippers .. not the backless ones, the full slipper ones
