sono at 38 weeks
I just got back form my sono. Baby is low and in position - although c-section is scheduled for Feb. 15th. Anyway to date my litttle girl weighs 7 pounds 8 oz. however the sono tech couldnt measure her entire head because she is low.
What do you think she will weigh at birth next week?

Hummm I'll guess 8lbs 10 oz since they gain about a pound a week!

At 39 weeks my son measured about 8lbs 8 oz. Then at 40.5 weeks he measured about 9 lbs 11 oz which is why I had a c-section. His weight at birth was 9lbs 4 oz.

They gain anywhere from 1/2lb to a 1lb towards the end.

My sono tech said that the weight can be off by 10 oz higher or lower. SHe also said in the last few weeks the baby gains about 1/2 lb per week.
