 | Need a dinner suggestion for tonight please This is one of those..."we ain't even going to TRY and cook this week" weeks... so we've been eating out all week and it's now thursday and I'm sick of everything.
I've had every kind of salad imaginable this week. Sushi is on the menu for tomorrow night, it was going to be Chinese tonight but I'm starting to get grossed out just thinking about it... unless you can recommend a new dish... I usually get Sesame Chicken...

So any suggestions? I'm talking about take out/fast food not eating at a restaurant.

ok its really good and healthy too for appetizers you can get the spring rolls , satay chicken or beef grilled on skewers with peanut sauce, fresh summer rolls, they have a lot listing what we ate when we have been there.

dinner- ah the Pad Thai it is stir fried Thai noodles with baby shrimp, egg, bean sprouts, dry tofu and topped with ground peanuts - it was awesome

its nothing like chinese food, I HATE chinese food
the vegetable fried rice is NOTHING like chinese rice, it is big chunks of veggies and the rice is a brown rice, its really really good
oh and its called Lemonleaf Grill

Thank you! I really appreciate you looking up the menu!! All of that sounds really yummy to me but DH is squeamish about Thai for some reason so I might have to trick him into it!
If I go, I'll be going to Greenleaf - is it good or should I stay away? |

Love Mexican too, but had it already!

Okay - I forgot that alot of Thai is spicy. I can't handle spicy so what non-spicy dishes do you recommend? I know they exist - I've had them! It's just been so long I don't even remember what Thai is like!

ETA: Pad Thai isn't spicy and is very yummy.

 | Re: Need a dinner suggestion for tonight please Sandra--I always get Pad Se Ew ( I think that's how it is spelled)It isn't spicy.
It is flat rice noodles , I think the seasoning is basil & ginger & I usally get it with chicken.

Dranken chicekn is similar & not spicy.

Pad thai isn't spicy either, it is peanutty, though.

If you don't get Thai, how abotu rotisserie chickeN? We have a place by us, but as someone mentioned, there is Boston Market, or supermarkets have them too. Or Zorns, but I don't think you are anywhere near Bethpage.

ETA--if you get Chinese, try Chow Fun, it is very similar to Pad Se Ew, it is flat rice noodles & they usually have it with chicken, or pork or just veggies.

ETA --again, now I'm mad you , b/c I want Thai & we don't have it near us.
