new to the board, little tmi lol
Hello all!! i have lurked all over LIF for quite some time but mostly post on the NFR, well we just got home from our HM and I want to ttc!!! anyway, I always assumed you just BD and that was it, reading some of these posts though show me that maybe its not anyway, tmi, but today is my first day of AF and I was wondering where do i start??? I have been off the pill for months now, only was on it for a year or 2 anyway. prior to the pill i was 28 days to the day, during the pill, not so much, and didnt love the side effects of weight gain, lower libido etc. etc. so last week during the hm we were just a lets see what happens, but I think I was too close to AF coming, anyway, thank you all so much, and baby dust to all!!!

Not sure how much you're into planning this or just letting nature take its course. What I did was go to WebMD - Pregnancy & Fertility tools plugged in the dates of my last period on the ovulation calendar. Then because my friend when through 5 years of inferility, I opted to buy the ovulation kit ($30). I got pregnant both times on the first shot (no pun intended).

You need to decide how much planning you want to put into this. However, if you want this to happen asap...I would read Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler and also start tracking your waking temperature using a basal body thermometer.

thank you redstar, i have read these boards for a while now, and you have a wealth of information, its always so helpful!! I do want it to happen ASAP but I figure I will try it without thinking about it at first and then go from there. There is so much, though, that I dont know about TTC (well I know a little bit ).
