What kind of bakeware do you have?
I am looking for a bakeware set to give as a gift, but not the metal kind. something you would use for baking side dishes in. not cakes and cookies.
I was thinking about maybe getting the porcelain kind, but I am not sure.

I have ceramic pieces from Crate and Barrel...
I also have a few stoneware pieces from Pampered Chef.

Me too! Corning Ware is good stuff. My mom still uses hers from that she bought in the 70's! it lasts...

I have both pyrex and corningwear. I love both sets and I use them for different purposes. Just an FYI - the cornignwear set your moms prob have with either the blue flowers or the wheat motif, is made of glass like correll is today. It is similar to the pyrex bakewear available today but it is slightly different. The corningwear available today in stores like macy's is actually stonewear. if you purchase a vintage set from ebay it is a different material.

Pyrex. I like that they come with tops so after you cook it you can just put the lid on to save the leftovers.

I have the all-clad bakeware...its stainless steel but it is for everything, cakes, pies, meats, veggies. I love it b/c I can plop it on the stove too for quick warm up.
I also love my pyrex and corningware!
