What is your perfect size?

What do you think is your perfect size?

Originally a size 10 was my goal. When I got to 10 I realized that if I continued with the healthy eating and exercise I could fit into an 8. Now that I'm in an 8 I feel pretty good about myself and am happy with my size. (OK, my stomach could always be tighter, etc. but I'm pretty happy).

I see a lot of people with a 4 as a goal. For me personally, I would look anorexic in a 4. (BTW, that's not a shot at anyone. People have different body types and what looks good on one person may not look good on another.) Several people have told me that I would look too skinny even in a 6. So this got me thinking.

What do you think is your perfect size?

6 or 8

Smaller than that is unrealistic for me & my body type.

2 requires alot of work for me- eating right and working out hard

but I feel I look best as a 2

I am only 5'2

now I am a 4 and I am not feeling good

even as a 2 I am not stick skinny...I have curves still...and a large a$$...lol

I was an 8 a few years ago and my family told me I looked sickly and too thin. That is where I feel best, though I'm also comfortable at a size 10.

I am happiest at a size 6.

Currently I am a 8 ... but a tight 8 in most jeans and bordering a 10.

A 6 is where I feel best and am able to maintain.

Less than a 6 I would not be able to maintain and for *me* is too thin (I am 5'7")

I'm 5'7" and I was happy as a 6/8. I'm a 10/12 now and i don't think it's awful...but definitely room for improvement. I have clothes waiting for me at 6/8...but I'm sure when I take them out, they'll be out of fashion...LOL

I'm not sure 4 would ever be a goal for me, most things would be too short...hehe...I guess that's what long lengths are for.

L - so funny...My favorite pari of jeans when i was a 6 were from Express, b/c they were long. Since then, i think a lot of companies have been coming out with long options.

Confession time!
I read this thread and really had to think about it. I have been a size 14 (and UP) since I am in 9th grade... that is more than 15 years..

Talk about a does of reality there! I have not thought about a pefect size until I read this thread. My largest was a size 32
I am currently in a 1x (16/18). I would love to get down to a size 14 again. Which now does not look TOO FAR away!

I think I will have to re-evaluate when I get to the size 14.

For me a size 6 in jeans and a size 4 in dress pants! Small or med in tops!

For me size 8 would be great.... but I will be happy to get back into a size 10

I am only 4'11 so I am beyond short and 15-20 lbs looks horrendous on me!

I am comfortable between an 8 and a 10. I tend to stick with the 10 and have things fit me baggy. I don't like tight fitting clothing personally.

Size 6 was perfect for me. I'm about between and 8 and a 10 right now- depending on the brand and fit. Working on getting back there!

Right now I'm a size 4 and can squeeze into a 2. I'd much rather be a comfortable 2. I have about 5 more lbs to lose before I can get there.
Looking back, I didn't feel comfortable at all with myself when I was wearing bigger sizes.

I'm 5'7". Loved, loved how I was and how my clothes fit when I was a size 10. When I graduated college and entered the working world, I was a size 6 or 8, depending on brand. Everyone tells me I was too thin then.

Funny how we all see ourselves differently. After two kids and lots of medical issues, a size 10 is a dream I am reaching for again!

I would say that a 6 or an 8 but not a 6 or 8 that I squeeze into. I am a LOT bigger than that now. I have a small frame so I am very overweight for my body frame right now. Even with a small frame I would not say that my ideal size as a 41 year old is below 6. I think that an 8 or 10 might be realistic (hope so). I wouldn't take a size just to say that I can squeeze into it, though. I wear sizes that are very comfortable or on the loose side.

my body is "comfortable" around a 6/8. I dropped down to a 4 and my body struggled to stay here (i had to basically restrict a LOT) so i am happiest at 6/8.

I've been an unhealthy 0 to an unhealthy 8 -

My perfect size in my head is probably a 2 but I don't really plan on starving anytime soon to get there. So if I reach it naturally, fine, otherwise 4 will do.
