I would have to say becoming an NYS E.M.T right out of High School.
It is something that I had wanted to do since I was really young and It was the greatest experience of my life. I decided to leave the field a few months after 9/11 but I don't regret it one bit.

going back to school for my MBA... I haven't graduated yet (just started last fall) but having the desire and the initiative to actually start instead of just putting it off, is an accomplishment for me

i decided what i wanted to do at age 14 and when i was 27 i finished school and am working in my goal career.

I thought about saying graduating lawschool and passing the bar on the first try.
But actually, I think it succeeding at work. I have pleased my bosses- even the boss who laid me off. And I got a new job lined up within 2 weeks of being told I was getting laid off. I seem to be doing well here too.

I guess getting my bachelor's and masters degree and receiving tenure last year. ALong with this, I think when one of my old students says something to me that shows I have made an impression in their lives.
