-fireplace (burning wood), because my Dad always used to light fires and keep them going all night when I was a little kid.
the smells of Upstate NY in October. I used to go visit FH for his birthday every October, and the leaves, mixed with the apple orchards, and the "crispness" of the air - I LOVE it.
The smell of pineapples. (real ones, not artificial)
