What is wrong with people these days
I just stopped off at starbucks before coming home because i got a GC from a friend for my birthday,'WELL' before i got back into my car, a mother i would say maybe in her late 20's early Thirties was with her 7 year old son and he was standing right next to the truck and she was looking for something in the back of the truck, All of a sudden i heard her say I F N hate you and this kid is crying and looking my way, i said Out loud so she can hear me That's NOT NICE and i think she heard me because after that she went into the gamestop store but she was mad as anything, My question is what posses a mother to talk to her child like that & Why would you? I hate people who treat their kids with disrepect and I felt like i just wanted to give that kid a hug and tell him he is ok!

It might not have been her kid? I mean - that isn't an excuse - but I guess I am REALLY hoping that a mom didn't tell her son that she hates him. 
And people are effed up. It's a vicious cycle. She probably had a mother who treated her the same way. And her son - if he continues to be emotionally abused - will possibly grow up and say hateful things to his child.
it's sad.

when my son RIGHTFULLY angers me, i am very careful how i speak to him and how i deal with him.
i have no words for the disdain i have for people who do this

I Agree and it really upsetted me to see this, I could not get this kid's look out of my head when i got home, it was so dishearting to me.

I've seen this so much lately and it really makes me sad. I was in a store tonight and there was a kid being a kid playing around the racks and the parents were verbally abusing him. I don't understand why people have kids if they are going to treat them like dirt
