What is the proper pronunciation of this name?
I'm calling someone whose name is Xu.
How do I say this name? I'm thinking it's pronounced either "Sue" or "Zoo"...maybe "Shue"?
Anyone? HELP!

I met several people in China with this last name and it was pronounced "Shu" (almost like "Shoe"). However, it could be pronoucned differently by different people and/or different cultures.
I would probably pronounce is "shu" and if necessary they will correct you.
