I think anything from dress slacks and a shirt to a casual dress. If it's in a backyard in the summer, I would say shorts are okay.

i think it depends - if it's at a restaurant, I'd go with a nice sundress, skirt, or capris and a dressy top and heels. If it's in someone's yard, I'd definitely wear flips or flats.

Depends on where it is.

I usually wear slacks & sweater, skirt or dress.

If it was a backyard thing, sundress & sandals/flip flops is fine.

to me it doesn't depend at all whether it's at a restaurant or house.

i wear a skirt and shirt, dress or nice pants and a shirt. unless i knew it was supposed to be a jeans event, i wouldn't wear them.

If it was in the spring or summer, I would wear a sundress. If the weather was cooler, slacks and a nice shirt.

For me it depends on the loctaion an dthe person. If it's a laid back bbq then nice shorts, tank and shoes is fine, but at a nicer rest. then maybe a sundress w/a cardigan and flats.

I went to a bridal shower yesterday and I wore dress pants and a nice blouse, Also it depends on the place in where it is.
