what would possibly drive a child to do such a thing? IS it TV he's watching, his surroundings? I just don't get it. This is just horrible!

I don't think it is the TV I truly think this child is disturbed and it has gone undetected... or maybe just maybe he truly felt neglected or unloved I really don't think we as adults truly understand our impact on chilren! Also if the baby was crying like the boy said and he was annoyed where were the parents outside that to me is a little negligent
******** ETA my stomach turned thinking the horrible pain that child endured.

It's just such a disturbing thing. We have a woman who comes into my office and she always tells us how "angry" her son is and he's maybe 6 or 7. She laughs about it, I don't think it's cute or funny. She says he beats up his sister  This child's 8 how do you deal with sentencing an 8 year old?

Even though technically they are 8 years old thiee actions aren't that of an 8yr old so i guess they look at it like that. I mean technically the 8 year meant to inflict pauin and unfortunately no matter who you are there are always consequences that are to be paid.

Why are you outside at midnight. If you have to go outside bring a baby moniter.
I remember when this happened and the 8 year old went into the crying babys crib and took her down the stairs UMMM HELLO
